These are my two latest surreal pieces. These are possibly the beginning of a collection of issues driven photographs focusing on how money makes the world go round.

This is my second surrealist piece in honour of Robert & Shana ParkeHarrison. The image was made using the same techniques as the previous one which I created. The issue behind this piece is intensive farming.

This is a surrealism piece which i was inspired to create after researching Robert & Shana ParkeHarrison. This image is very heavily manipulated using Photoshop. I wanted to create a piece which could almost be placed directly into their "Architect's Brother" collection unnoticed. I wanted the image to be issues driven, and make the audience think more deeply about its meaning, as do all ParkeHarrison pieces. This particular piece of mine is about war and conflict.

This is an example of my HDR (High Dynamic Range) work. This scene really caught my eye because of the dark tree which is partially covering the grand Victorian style house. The contorted tree in a way taints the scene which would otherwise look very idyllic. The colours, which are as a result of turning the photograph into a HDR image, further amplify the horror aspect by causing the house to look grubby and dramatising the sky and the field in the foreground.

St. Lukes church has been derelict for over 20 years. This photograph was taken for an A Level project titled 'Sanctuary'. The photograph was taken using an Infra Red lens filter, I used Infra Red because I wanted to capture the tranquility of the scene, which is an interesting juxtaposition because dereliction and tranquility are not normally related. This dereliction of the church is very suitable for my project because its symbolic, it shows that religion as a sanctuary is in decline.
